Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pet Care Specialist to join our team. This role is essential for providing high-quality care to pets in our facility, ensuring their safety, comfort, and happiness. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animals and the ability to handle various pet care tasks while delivering exceptional customer service to pet owners.

Duties

  • Provide daily care for pets, including feeding, grooming, and exercising.
  • Monitor the health and behavior of pets, reporting any concerns to management.
  • Maintain cleanliness in pet areas by performing regular cleaning duties.
  • Assist with heavy lifting of pet supplies and equipment as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their pets’ needs and well-being.
  • Ensure all safety protocols are followed to protect both pets and staff.
  • Participate in training sessions to enhance knowledge of animal care techniques.

Skills

  • Strong customer service skills to interact positively with pet owners and colleagues.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting as required for moving supplies and caring for larger animals.
  • Excellent observational skills to detect changes in pet behavior or health.
  • Good communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients.
  • A genuine love for animals and commitment to their well-being is essential.

Pet Pawsitive’s Luxury Pet Resort Inc is a unique pet resort that offers all inclusive pet vacations for cats and dogs ,along with daycare services for puppies and adult dogs. We only cater to socialized pups. We have a strong support team who strive for excellence care for both our furry guests & clients. We are staffed from 7am-10pm, 365 days a year.

About the Position

The full-time employee with be responsible for admin duties as well as supervising the daycare dogs, feeding, administering medications when needed, daily cleaning, providing proper care for our kitty guests all the while adhering to policies and procedures. This position has the opportunity to become full-time based on performance and demand. We offer a voluntary trial day to anyone who meets our requirements, ensuring this position is the right fit for the new hire. We don’t want to waste anyone’s time going through the hiring process only to find out our unique pet resort isn’t the right fit the new staff member, working with pets can be very rewarding for some people but not for all.
