Website Seeds to Sprouts Childcare Centre

Seeds to Sprouts Childcare Center is looking for school-aged summer educators. This summer our school aged program is looking for educators to work along side our RECE in creating an amazing program for the children we care for.

Position starts June 27th 2025 (start date could be earlier if willing to be an on-call educator within center until start date) and goes until September 2nd 2025 (end date flexible if returning to College or University earlier). Must be 18+ due to Ministry of Education guidelines.

*This is not a permanent position but could lead to other opportunities past September.*

Must be available Monday to Friday for all centre hours 6:30am-6:30pm.

Responsibilities and Duties

-Must have a passion to help children learn and grow

-Obtain a police vulnerable check (VSC)

-Observe and record children’s growth and development and discuss observations with parents.

-Document and plan learning experiences

-Integrate children with special needs into the daily program

-Prepare and set up play and learning materials for the children.

-Positively guide children’s behaviour and social development.

-Maintain a safe, clean and appealing environment.

-Perform basic first aid as needed.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $19.50-$24.86 per hour

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • No weekends
  • On call
