McKinnon Psychotherapy & Counselling is a growing therapy clinic in Trenton, Ontario. We believe in high-quality care, authentic connection, and supporting mental wellness in our community. We’re looking for a creative and caring part-time team member to help us share our story online through social media, newsletters, and blogs.

If you’re the type of person who’s always filming behind the scenes, editing a vlog, or thinking “this would make a great reel,” we want to hear from you.

What You’ll Do:

  • Film and create vlogs and short-form video content (for Instagram Reels, Stories, etc.)
  • Help create and post content to our Instagram and Facebook pages
  • Assist with updating and managing our website (we use Squarespace)
  • Upload blogs and turn them into monthly newsletters using Mailchimp
  • Maintain a consistent brand tone that’s warm, professional, and people-centered
  • Attend in-person meetings (in Trenton) for team planning or content creation.

You’re a great fit if you:

  • Have strong writing and communication skills (you love words!)
  • Are familiar with Instagram, Canva, and basic email marketing tools
  • Have an eye for design and love telling stories through visuals
  • Are organized, proactive, and comfortable working independently
  • Have an interest in mental health, therapy, or community wellness

Bonus (but not required):

  • Experience with Squarespace or Mailchimp
  • Photography, video, or content creation skills
  • Comfortable working with a small, tight-knit team

This is a part-time position, ideal for a student, creative freelancer, or someone looking to gain experience in a caring, mission-driven environment. We know this is a minimum wage role but we also know the value of being part of a purpose-filled space where your creative work means something.
