We’re currently seeking a Marketing Assistant to join our Belleville team and help us build what really matters!
THE OPPORTUNITY:
- Full-time
- Monday to Friday
- 8:00am – 4:00pm
YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provides general administrative support to the department.
- Prepares, manages and disseminates various documents and/or reports related to the activities in the department.
- Collaborates in the development and maintenance of marketing projects and campaigns.
- Participates in the creation of content for various marketing materials.
- Assists in the creation of internal communications.
- Assists with website content management.
- Monitors social media accounts. Creates social media content under the direction of the Marketing Coordinator.
- Monitors and analyses website traffic and performance.
- Assists with market research activities. Gathers and reviews marketing data from various sources.
- Assists in the organization of corporate and promotional events.
- Liaises with external suppliers, including but not limited to marketing firms, photographers and vendors.
- Responsible for inventory management of promotional items.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and use required protective equipment.
- Report any hazards, defective equipment, or contraventions to the employer or supervisor.
- Maintain safety protocols by not removing protective devices and avoiding unsafe practices or conduct.
- Executes all other duties required by the position and/or requested by the immediate supervisor.
WHAT YOU BRING TO OUR TEAM:
- Post-secondary diploma in Marketing/Advertising or Business Administration
- 1-2 Years’ relevant experience in a Marketing Assistant role, or similar
- Previous experience with graphic design
- Previous experience using third-party marketing tools i.e. MailChimp, Constant Contact
- Strong communication skills – written and verbal, in English
- Proficient with computers i.e. MS Office, Adobe Suites
- Excellent organization with attention to detail
- Customer-service orientation
- Good interpersonal relations
- Sense of urgency, ability to manage and meet deadline
- Curious, willing to ask questions
