Garage Door Technician

We are looking for a full-time garage door technician that can assist with installations and service of both commercial and residential garage doors and operators. Willing to train as needed.

Job Duties:

• Installing garage doors in both residential and commercial buildings
• Repair and maintenance of garage doors and systems
• Ensuring a high level of customer service
• Maintaining a clean and safe work site
• Completing paperwork as required

Qualifications:

• Grade 12 or equivalent preferred
• Valid G driver's license and acceptable driving abstract
• Previous experience is an asset; employer is willing to train the right candidate
• Mechanically inclined, physically capable of some heavy lifting and working at a fast pace
• Familiar with the use of small hand and power tools
• Comfortable working at heights, including ladders & lift equipment (ie. scissor lift)

Additional Information:

• Position is full time; Monday - Friday
• Wage is competitive and TBD based on experience
• Reliable transportation to and from shop; employer provides work vehicle to job sites
