Holgate Tire & Battery has been a family-owned staple in the Belleville community since the 1950’s. We are currently looking for a qualified individual to join our team on a permanent full-time basis.
We are open from 7:30 to 5:00 Monday to Friday. We supply uniforms, offer an employee benefits program and an employee purchase program on all of the products we sell. Salary will be based upon experience. The successful candidate will need to be very customer focused and detail oriented.
Description of Duties:
- Enter inventory and accounts payables into QuickBooks as invoices are received.
- Interact with customers at the front counter and on the phone.
- Write up work orders for in shop and service call transactions and deliver to Shop Manager or Tire Technicians.
- Invoice for work completed and collect payment.
- Order tires, batteries, and other supplies as required.
- Other duties may be assigned to match the skill set of the employee.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience with entering inventory and accounts payable is preferred.
- Previous sales experience and experience in the tire/automotive industry is preferred.
- Strong communication skills.
- Comfortable with computers. Experience with Intuit QuickBooks is a definite asset.
- Valid Driver’s License.
