Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers by understanding their needs, preferences, and lifestyle.
  • Assist customers in selecting their ideal vehicle by presenting product features, conducting test drives, and highlighting unique selling points.
  • Provide accurate and transparent information about pricing, financing, leasing, warranties, and other vehicle details.
  • Negotiate pricing and terms of sale to ensure customer satisfaction and achieve sales goals.
  • Collaborate with the sales management team to consistently meet or exceed monthly and annual sales targets.
  • Follow up with leads and potential customers through calls, emails, and other communication channels to nurture long-term relationships.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service at every stage of the sales process, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience.
  • Stay current with product knowledge, new features, competitive trends, and industry developments to better assist customers.
  • Ensure all sales documentation, including financing and leasing agreements, is completed accurately and efficiently.
  • Maintain a professional showroom environment by keeping the space clean, organized, and welcoming.

Experience & Skills

  • Proven success in a sales role, preferably in retail or the automotive industry.
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to close deals effectively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional customer service abilities, with a focus on building trust and loyalty.
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with a drive to exceed targets.
  • Sales support experience, including phone etiquette and upselling techniques.
  • Proficiency in basic math for calculating pricing, financing, and trade-in options.
  • Tech-savvy, with the ability to quickly learn and utilize dealership management software and CRM systems.
  • A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
  • OMVIC (Ontario Motor Vehicle Industry Council) Certification is an asset.

What We’re Looking For

  • A genuine passion for automobiles and helping customers find the vehicle that suits their needs.
  • A positive, can-do attitude and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Ability to work throughout the week (Monday - Friday) and weekends (Saturday only, closed Sundays). 5 day work week with one Saturday a month off and one day off during the week every other week.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00-$200,000.00 per year
