The TCS Group of Companies has an opening for a Customer Support Specialist (CSS) within our busy, expanding, third party logistics organization.

The customer support specialist performs all tasks associated with the day-to-day coordination of inbound and outbound shipments, inventory control, holds, releases and other related activities for an assigned number of customers.
Schedule: General hours of work are Mon-Fri, 10am-6:30pm, depending on business requirements this may be changed with notice. This is an in-person position based in Trenton, Ontario.
Compensation: $20 per hour to start plus comprehensive health, dental and insurance benefits, EAP as well as pension plan.
Key Accountabilities:
- Scheduling of inbound and outbound shipments in the dock schedule
- Entering outbound orders into the Warehouse Management System (WMS) or modifying and adding notes to electronic orders in the WMS to ensure customer specific details are included
- Responding to customer inquiries, ensuring their needs are met promptly and escalating issues that are not resolved to the team leads
- Ensuring customer requirements are met, such as sending daily reports and meeting client-specified timelines for completion of tasks
- Researching inventory inquiries and discrepancies brought to our attention by clients or others using WMS and in conjunction with warehouse teams – report findings to client and Team Leads/Managers to ensure resolution
· Other duties as assigned
Successful Candidate will possess:
· Secondary School Diploma
· Excellent written and oral communication skills; Billingual an asset
· Experience with SAP would be an asset
· Organizational skills
· Interpersonal/people skills and problem-solving skills
· Excellent computer and data entry skills (Excel/Outlook/Word)
· Must be able to sit for prolonged periods
· Intense visible, listening and mental attentiveness required daily
· Must be able to work under pressure and maintain a high energy level.
