1) Pro, NCAA, and Major Junior teams need to maximize their return on equipment they can no longer use.
2) Consumers want good quality high performance products for lower prices.
Through years of hard work and dedication to these two guiding principles we have built a highly reputable business that sells hockey products throughout the world. Over the past few years, we have expanded our operation to include Blackout pro stock sticks, liquidation services or bulk purchases, and anything else where we can deliver a great deal to our loyal following!
WHO YOU ARE - You are an energetic, highly motivated individual who recognizes this as an opportunity to work in the hockey industry. You have strong multitasking skills and are able to work in dynamic and fast paced work environments. You grew up loving or playing hockey and are experienced with and interested in hockey equipment. You are a friendly, outgoing person who likes to work with people, while also maintaining a high attention to detail and organizational skills. You have spent time in the past working in a pro shop or equipment room environment, or have a desire to do so.
THE ROLE – We are looking for a dynamic individual to join our team at the HockeyStickMan Belleville location. Reporting to the General Manager, you will apply your experience in a variety of areas including online order fulfillment, helping customers in store, inventory processing, product merchandising and other duties as required. You will spend much of your day on your feet. We are a small business and rely on everyone stepping up in different areas when necessary. Our priority is to hire someone to work our busiest store hours, with a typical weekly schedule being 4 week days and 1 weekend day.

WHAT YOU BRING
- High School Diploma. Many of our staff have university/college degrees, especially in areas like Sport Management
- Passion for the game of hockey and knowledge of hockey products and sticks
- Past experience in pro shop environment, knowledge of sharpening, repairs etc. is a major plus, but not required
- Familiarity with Shopify or other eCommerce platforms is ideal, but not required.
- An open mind and a positive attitude
- A willingness to take on a wide variety of tasks (including hands on work)
- A valid driver’s license
- Ability to work flexible hours to best suit needs of customers.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Every Weekend
- Weekends as needed
Supplemental pay types:
