Salary Range: $75,111.40 to $87,851.40 per year plus a comprehensive benefit package

The County of Lennox and Addington is seeking a talented GIS Analyst to join its Information Technology Department. Taking the lead in geospatial solutions, the County is dedicated to staying ahead of the curve and delivering top-notch GIS services to meet the evolving needs of the organization. In this role, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional GIS resources across the enterprise.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Adhere to the County of Lennox and Addington’s policies, procedures, guidelines and regulations
· Spearhead GIS services to meet the diverse needs of County Departments
· Administer and support the use of a Geographic Information System (GIS) by County Departments, lower tier municipalities, the public, external agencies, and businesses
· Continuously improve and analyse GIS resources, including implementing CityWorks for asset management, land use and permitting, NG911 data management, and business process preparation
· Identify organizational needs and develop solutions using GIS resources
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Post-secondary education in Geographic Information Systems, Geography or Computer Science and a minimum of four (4) years’ relevant GIS experience preferably in a municipal environment
· Able to demonstrate expertise using ArcGIS software and services (ex. ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, CityWorks, data management in ESRI / relational databases and FME)
· Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office and AutoCAD Software
· A proven track record of developing solutions in emerging technologies provided in ArcGIS Online is highly desired
· Applicants must have a valid driver’s licence and use of a personal vehicle
· Knowledge of emerging technologies and policies
· Excellent research and organizational skills; excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to facilitate partnerships; ability to demonstrate leadership, good judgement, initiative and critical thinking
· Enthusiasm and commitment to the County’s goals by providing excellent GIS resources
· Satisfactory attendance record, subject to the requirements of the Ontario Human Rights Code
