Reid's Dairy Company Ltd. is currently accepting resumes for a Maintenance Packaging Technician (Full-Time).
Job Description and Responsibilities:
- Prioritizing duties and tasks to be performed through the Maintenance Team;
- Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose and repair high-speed equipment failures;
- Oversee scheduled preventative and predictive maintenance functions;
- Complete periodic inspections of equipment and systems;
- Background with PLC programming and troubleshooting;
- Must be able to read complex layouts and schematic drawings to install equipment;
- Document service and installation procedures by completing service reports, inspections and other maintenance-related paperwork;
- Must be highly motivated to accomplish tasks and demonstrate problem solving skills;
- Ability to work under pressure, work as a team and meet specific deadlines;
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
- Experience in electrical skills and activities would be considered an asset;
- Strong mechanical skills and knowledge is an asset;
- Reports to the Plant Manager and Maintenance Lead Hand.
Qualifications required:
- A minimum of three (3) years of experience as a Maintenance Packaging Technician.
- Experience as a packaging technician with a food manufacturing background is considered an asset.
- Exceptional mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Knowledge pertaining to health and safety regulations including an emphasis on food safety.
- Educational background in a maintenance-related discipline.

Experience: A minimum of three (3) years of experience with a maintenance-related background with an ability to troubleshoot high-speed production and packaging equipment, preferably in the food manufacturing industry.
Equipment Expertise: Repairing and troubleshooting equipment and machinery.

Rate of Pay: As per employee agreement
Weight Handling: Up to 50lbs
