Elston Camp Professional Corporation is a busy, client-focused law firm in Quinte West, Ontario, specializing in Real Property Law, Estate Planning & Administration, and Corporate/Commercial Law.
We are seeking an experienced Real Estate Law Clerk to assist our lawyer in all aspects of real estate transactions.
Ideal Candidate
The successful candidate will have:
✔ 5 to 10 years of experience as a Law Clerk in real estate law
✔ A valid driver’s license
✔ Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities
- Manage real estate transactions (purchase, sale, and mortgage) and prepare required documentation using Unity and Teraview
- Liaise with financial institutions regarding mortgage instructions and disbursements
- Order and review Tax Certificates from Municipal Tax Departments
- Conduct Writs of Execution searches and order search reports
- Prepare final reporting letters to clients and lenders
- Act as a Commissioner for taking affidavits
- Communicate with clients via phone and email as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned to support real estate transactions

- Unity (Real Estate Platform)

- PCLaw (Legal Accounting & Practice Management)
- Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Work Environment & Benefits
- Remote Work: No (on-site position)
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8-hour shift
- Compensation: Salary commensurate with experience
