THE ROLE
Under the supervision of the Community Recreation Coordinator, the Gym Attendant greets visitors, establishes nature of business and directs them to the appropriate area or person. The employee will ensure access to the facility and services is by authorized clients only. They will verify identification cards of clients entering the facility. They ensure safety and enforce rules concerning conduct and use of equipment. The employee patrols the facility to ensure rules and regulations are being followed.
QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED
Education, Certifications and Licenses
An acceptable combination of education, training, and/or experience.
Current CPR and Basic First Aid qualifications
Experience
In general office administration
Competencies, Skills and Abilities
Client focus, organizational knowledge, communication, innovation, teamwork and leadership.
