The residential concrete foreman will be responsible for ensuring the completion of commercial jobs in a timely manner. This will be done by overseeing your work crew, ensuring that you have the proper material and equipment on site. You will be responsible for training and ensuring your crew are set up for success. In this position you will assist your team with forming, placing and pouring concrete. You will be responsible for ensuring the ongoing safety of your crew and that all team members are in compliance with safety regulations and procedures.

Duties

  • Assist in the preparation and pouring of concrete for various residential concrete projects.
  • Follow blueprints to ensure accurate placement and finishing of concrete.
  • Perform daily safety maintenance checks including but not limited to site safety, equipment safety and material safety
  • Manage your team effectively to reduce downtime on site
  • Collaborate with supervisors and team members to maintain a safe and productive work environment.
  • Always be on site to effectively lead your team
  • Be able to communicate successfully with the residential coordinator regarding all project details, changes, etc.
  • Be the main point of contact for the employees including time off, vacation, etc and report to the office.
  • Assist in building, forming, placing and pouring concrete
  • Install rebar to specification

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in supervising residential concrete projects
  • Familiarity with quality control processes and procedures.
  • Strong understanding of blueprints
  • Strong knowledge of concrete forming
  • Ability to supervise small teams when required, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and project timelines.
  • Excellent physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials as needed.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and supervisors.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
