Working Distribution Manager

Overview
We are seeking a motivated and experienced working Distribution Manager to oversee our distribution operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the logistics of product distribution, ensuring efficient warehouse operations. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a keen understanding of warehouse distribution processes.

Duties

• Oversee daily operations in the distribution center, ensuring timely and accurate shipment and reception of products.
• Loading and unloading of trucks and containers.
• Picking, palletizing, wrapping and documentation of outgoing shipments.
• Develop and implement efficient distribution strategies to optimize workflow.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies within the warehouse environment.
• Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and improve overall service delivery.
• Inventory management physical and digital.
• Maintaining cleanliness and organization of warehouse.

Skills:

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with all levels.
• Bilingual abilities are a plus but not necessary, enhancing communication with a broader range of co-workers and clients.
• Exceptional time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in computer science applications relevant to warehouse management systems.
• Experience in warehouse distribution processes, including inventory management and logistics coordination.
• Ability to fabricate solutions on-the-fly when faced with operational challenges.
• Physical capability for heavy lifting required by the job duties.
• Minimum of 4 years experience in warehousing.
• Ability to work unsupervised, self starter.
• certified fork lift operator.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $22.77 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
